Composer, artist and sensory percussionist currently based in London. Commissions include the Guggenheim Museum, IRCAM, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, Brussels Philharmonic and Schallfeld Ensemble Graz. Recent and upcoming work commissioned by Somerset House, London Symphony Orchestra, BEK Bergen and ZhdK Zurich. My works sit between concert and electronic music, intermedia, hybrid performance, interaction design and installation. I am interested in histories and ecologies of sonic culture, entertainment, psychoacoustics, automation and simulation.
Staging a kinetic, processual ganzfeld experiment, the piece sensorialy magnifies and focuses extremely paired down sonic and acoustic information – surround sound ambience and large-screen colour palette films. It is a quiet, bland but intense audiovisual space in which different sensory flavours no longer stand in opposition to one another, but rather abide within plenitude.
